The planivolumetric definition of the project seeks a new unity of the entire urban lot with the dual purpose of returning identity to a fringe area and increasing the value, also symbolic and of testimony, of the building at the service of the community. The new building envelops the volume of the existing gym, creating a system of courts that can be used for multiple uses, exhibitions, games, thematic areas, cultivation, informal education. The new building is presented as a set of rigorous and articulated volumes that in the treatment of opaque surfaces recall the materiality of the Crete Senesi.
