Piazza L. da Vinci
Pescia (PT), Italy - 2003
The fountain is conceived as a constituent element of the City and as such a bearer of irreversible urban repercussions such as the liberation of space from parked cars. The project hypothesizes a linear fountain that frees a large portion of the area from traffic, bringing back vitality. The system seeks the sense of variation of the gore and wrinkles, small longitudinal roads typical of the city, carved into a stone platform alternating with green spaces where pedestrian parking spaces can be transformed into children's games or exhibitors for works of art.
